Miniature Fantasies(2006)

Miniature Fantasies is an evening-length trio that combines intertwined, delicate dancing and images of courtyards and wide-open terraces that are the cornerstone of the Indian miniature paintings traditions. With a sly human touch and outmoded -slide projectors, Popkin creates a study in scale that illuminates layers of intimacies and histories in this fantastical work.

And Then We Eat (2004)

And Then We Eat looks at companionship and what it takes for two people to truly come together, and not just to eat, but to share in an experience. Two performers chop onions, perch atop one another, circles each other, then add spices to create a sumptuous dance.
